Message of Condolences from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic
Excellency,
I am deeply saddened and shocked to learn of the horrific attack at the Christmas market in Strasbourg on 11 December 2018. It is all the more distressing to learn that this incident resulted in the loss of innocent lives, including one Thai national on holiday.
I wish to express my solidarity with France in condemning such a senseless act of terrorism. My prayers go to the deceased, and my heartfelt sympathy, to the families and friends of those afflicted by the incident.
Thailand reaffirms our commitment to working closely with France and the global community in the fight against all forms of violence and terrorism.
Accept, Excellency, the renewed assurances of my highest consideration.
Don Pramudwinai
Minister of Foreign Affairs
of the Kingdom of Thailand
